On August 14, Friday, Cupid took to Twitter, accusing SEVENTEEN of plagiarizing their most well-known song, "Cupid Shuffle". He tweeted which he thought SEVENTEEN utilized elements of the 2007 hit song due to their title track that is latest, "Left & Right".

Another Tweet was shared by him which had a video clip with it, comparing the similarities of this two songs. It seems he could be discussing the way the song has beats that are similar.

One of is own fans commented regarding the similarities, saying the beat of "Left & Appropriate" seems just like "Cupid Shuffle". They stated which they should spend him royalties and apologize. Cupid quote-tweeted the fan's response and reported that K-Pop musicians thinking they are able to do "whatever" together with his tradition and proceeded to phone them bullied. Cupid is Africa-American, he is referring to black culture so it is believed.
