12 Jun Concern: Q: transforming word docs to pages instantly
We install my school records from their website but every one of the records are generally in term or powerpoint structure. Just how do I configure my computer system to immediately transform these to pages and keynote so they start in those programs (should this be feasible)? I take advantage of Bing Chrome as my web internet browser if it assists any.
Emphasize an understood keyword document when you look at the Finder, emphasize it & select Get information through the File menu. Within the Get tips box, click on the triangle close to "start With." Click with this drop-down menu & choose Pages. If Pages just isn't a option, choose "Other" & navigate into the Pages application. Now click on the "Change" switch beneath the text that asks if you want to start all papers like this with Pages. Then you can double-click the term papers & they will certainly open in Pages.
Remember that the symbol when it comes to term files could have a simple, white symbol. Perform through a PowerPoint document & switch to Keynote.

Along with exactly exactly exactly what Peggy had written, if she permits this:
This modifies the application to likely be operational with, just isn't their particular transformation, which needs to be done within Pages itself, and Keynote correspondingly. These data cannot be transformed straight, i really do maybe maybe maybe not know this type of converter, as with the wonderful days of classic Mac OS.
Pages is definitely an attractive software, requires a little little bit of sophistication to be an app that is truly great. But, if you prefer as it is, put it to use.
